Utahn Conversations is a communal project that provides support and tools for folks to step into the role of host, and have critical conversations that create change and build safety in our communities.
Utahn Conversations is a call to action. It is an invitation to connect, listen deeply, and learn. You change and grow through the relationships you have with those you trust.
Utahn Conversations is a communal healing space. We aren't designed to grow alone. This call to community conversation helps us to build pods of local support that foster growth, connection and healing. We're wired to connect and listen to each other's stories.
Utahn Conversations addresses the question - "What happens when the smoke settles?" Once laws change, and new structures are built, what happens now?
Will more doctors see trans and non gender conforming bodies and listen with thoughtfulness and care? Will more teachers listen to black bodies and lift up their dreams? Will employers embrace brown bodies and change their structures and methodologies?
Utahn Conversations builds communities of care by creating space for us to listen, be changed by what we hear, and bring those changes to our community.
Hosts hold 3 conversations that help participants know self, listen to others, and explore how to create change.
